Strategy that gets built.
The independent practice of Abhishek Girdhar - marketing strategy, growth, and AI systems - as one motion, for founders and operators.

I didn't start as a consultant. I started inside the work.
Over fourteen years, I moved from strategising & servicing clients to leading teams, owning P&Ls, and building the systems behind agency growth - across brand, performance, social, SEO, programmatic, and operations, run as one machine.
Today I help founders solve what I spent my career solving inside agencies: turning strategy into execution, and execution into repeatable systems. What's changed is AI - it shortens the distance between a decision and a working system, and lets a small team build what used to take a department.
The Outlayer sits where those two meet: operator experience and AI-enabled execution.
Nobody hires a service. They hire a problem gone.
Positioning and a go-to-market the whole company can actually run. The sharpest version of what you do, who it's for, and why it wins — built to execute, not just admire.
Know more →The few channels and moves that actually move the number. Less motion, more progress — a focused read on where the next dollar compounds, and the discipline to ignore the rest.
Know more →Practical AI systems that take real, repeatable work off the team. Content pipelines, reporting, and back-office workflows that run themselves - built by an operator who ships with AI daily.
Know more →The operating system that lets marketing scale cleanly as you grow. Process, stack, and team designed so growth doesn't create chaos.

The positioning, name, brand, copy, and site — one operator thinking it through, AI doing the build. You're looking at it.

0 to 200 people and a $5M+ P&L, built from the ground up - the process, stack, and ownership that scale without breaking on one person.

Came in as founding operator - name, brand, website, sales, ops, and hiring. Now a 40-person team delivering across 5 countries, all from India.

A legacy sanitaryware brand with no digital presence. Built the site around what buyers actually search for - 400% user growth and 926 organic enquiries in year one, zero ad spend, now outranking Kohler and Kaff.

I connected with Abhishek Girdhar in early 2025 as part of launching my online healthcare marketplace. He was a trusted partner from the get go; never a vendor or a consultant just working on our ask. Abhishek was integral in assessing audience potential, stress-tested assumptions, and translated insights into clear decisions: brand identity locked, the right tech stack chosen, and a pragmatic marketing roadmap we can actually execute based on our brand vision. What I value most is his mix of enthusiasm, intelligence, and integrity. He’s approachable and realistic; tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear and then gets in the trenches to make it happen. Zero fluff, high accountability, steady delivery. With his expertise, we’re launching with confidence and a plan to scale, not scramble. If you’re building a brand or taking one to its next chapter, Abhishek is the person you want beside you; reliable, clear-thinking, and quietly relentless about outcomes.

Abhishek built Finance With Tarun from the ground up - website, content system, compliance framework, go-to-market strategy, and a fully automated content engine - with a level of care that's hard to find. He understood that as a financial educator, how I say things matters as much as what I say, and he built that discipline into every part of the platform, from brand positioning down to the automation that now keeps content flowing without compromising quality. Thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely invested in getting it right. I'd work with him again without hesitation.

We've run Expo for years - bringing universities, colleges, and students together across major Indian cities, and internationally in Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the UAE. Our outreach was fully offline: SMS, hoardings, banners. It worked until digital took over, and we could feel the attention slipping. Abhishek rebuilt how we operate. He set up our website, built a proper lead generation engine, and moved our entire registration online. Students could register digitally, then scan a QR code at the venue to get their ID card and walk straight in. What stood out was that he understood the business, not just the marketing. He took a system that lived on the streets and made it work online. Our reach grew, our registrations grew, and our outreach finally matched how students actually behave today. He's the rare person who thinks and builds. If you want someone who can take an old-school operation into the digital world, he's the one.

My point of view on what I'm seeing - written as I work through it.

What a fractional CMO costs across India, the UAE and the US in 2026, how retainers are priced by the day, and how to structure the engagement so you never overpay.

Growth is an economics problem wearing a marketing costume.

The plan is rarely the problem. Launches are won in execution, in how fast the work reaches the market and how quickly it changes once it's there.
